In my spare time I enjoy golfing and antiquing.  Golf is usually relaxing and sometimes very competitive.  One of my arch rivals on the golf course and golf buddy it Josef L’African.  He’s the one who got me into corkscrew collecting.  He always had a great story to tell of his latest find.  This often reminded me of my first love….Beanie Babies!  Yes, I admit it, I was addicted to Beanie Babies.  Buying, selling, collecting, bargaining, and most of all….the thrill of the hunt!  Well, I was instantly hooked on the idea of collecting antique corkscrews.

I’ve been collecting corkscrews since 2006.  WOW!  How time flies!  I’ve owned thousands of pieces that range from mechanical to simple, American to German, figural to bone, and anything with a corkscrew!  Although my collection is broad, I’m naturally attracted to American Patents.  Syroco figurines have long been my favorite.  Please feel free to contact me anytime as I’m always open to chat about CORKSCREWS!
